Volunteering with X-life Youth
Change your life. Lead your world.
Vision: We are committed to raising up the next generation of leaders. Today, those future leaders are just kids. But it won’t be long before they are in charge of this world. Each one of them has a God-given destiny and we aim to help them achieve it.
Objectives:
- Give kids alternatives to weekend parties.
- Foster positive self esteem.
- Provide an atmosphere where kids can build a network of positive friends who will help each other stand against negative influences and make good decisions.
- Facilitate the exploration of issues of faith; beliefs, worship, prayer.
- Give them practical tools to keep them safe and make them successful.
- Give kids practical opportunities to change their world.
- Reinforce positive values that kids are learning at home and at school.
How you can be involved: As part of the adult leadership team you can expect to serve in any or all of the following ways: Cooking, cleaning, counselling, organizing games, phoning, mentoring, fund raising, prayer, event planning and/or management, or helping with any of our youth activities including music, dance, drama, video or our stock car race program.
Progressive application process – one step at a time:
- Fill out an application form.
- Meet with us to discuss your work with youth
- Complete a criminal records check
- Trial period
- Commissioned as an X-life leader

(Part 1 & Part 2) at the RCMP. When complete, pick up results and deliver to X-life.
