It's hard to change the world when you feel
trapped in your own world.
Are you
bullied,
abused,
alone,
afraid,
depressed,
hopeless,
addicted,
sad,
anorexic?
There is freedom!
In life you will always have to
deal with relationships. Unfortunately, bad relationships
hurt us. Often, people don't know how to get away from other
people who hurt them either mentally or physically. Sometimes we
are in situations where it's really
hard to get away from people who hurt us. How do you
deal with bully's who hunt you down, or friends who turn on you
without warning, or a teacher who seems to just hate you, or
worse, a family member who abuses you? Well, fortunately,
there are answers for you and relationships can change or
stop all together. But often, people need intervention and
encouragement from an outside party to bring real change. If you
need that intervention, we are here and can either help you
directly, or hook you up with someone else who can help you.
There are always practical
things that can be done to deal with pain in your life and we
suggest you do absolutely everything you can. There are
qualified, professional people who can and really want to help
you and we urge you to reach out for their help. There is also
the power of God. Sometimes practical actions just aren't
enough. For example, I've heard dozens of testimonies of people
hooked on drugs who tried everything to get free. Nothing
worked. Finally, they surrendered their problem to Jesus, and
they were set free instantly. Others didn't find instant
freedom, but over the following week or two after asking for
help from Him, God lead them out of their misery and addiction.
Other problems like depression, fear, anxiety,
hate, anger, sadness, and depression can be solved through
prescription antidepressants, communication with a doctor and
counseling. Many times, a person can find great help and comfort
through these things and we are lucky to have these options.
But sadly, for others it's just not
enough. Antidepressants can help stop you from
crying and even help stop thoughts of suicide. But on a deeper
level, some people still find that the hopelessness won't go
away and the sadness is still a deep muffled well ready to
burst, and the pain, though numbed by the antidepressants,
constantly brings up upsetting thoughts and mental distress. The
band aids aren't working.
Well, there is good news. Jesus has the power
to heal the brokenhearted. In fact it is His specialty. There is
a good reason he is called THE PRINCE OF PEACE. He takes the
worst kind of sorrow, and turns it into joy. He rescues the
captive heart. He saves the un-savable. He changes the
un-changeable. That is why people who have turned to him get so
Jesus crazy, because they know that there was no other way out
of their pain except through Him. They know that it was a true
miracle that changed their life and that it wasn't just positive
thinking or a good book or a philosophy or a drug. It was beyond
themselves and beyond earthly help. Do you need this? Something
beyond yourself or beyond good human advice? You can do
something about it right now. Right this second. Surrender your
life to him, and I promise you, things will start to change. If
you need help with this and someone to help pray for your
freedom, please call me, Carmen, at 604-905-0932. Adults
welcome. Maybe I've been talking to adults.
With much love,
